The Inner Circle is an intimate hybrid-style mastermind combining private coaching, consulting, and a like-minded micro-community for multi-passionate, growing copywriters, marketers, personal brands, and freelancers.
✨ It’s the place where you get to dream up your next moves and build a solid foundation to scale your way—in alignment with your goals and your life. ✨
How you accomplish your unique goals is personalized to align with your capacity, business, and life. There’s no set curriculum, but a set of guiding pillars that help us stay on track through the evolution of your growth.
Instead of explaining the program to you over and over again, I prefer to show you what it’s like. One way to show you is to let you hear directly from alumni and current members about their experience inside. Because while I guide, coach, and consult through the process, it’s really about the group: What you give and get from your time inside The Inner Circle.
This blog post includes a bit about why Dianna Candido joined the inaugural cohort and is coming back for round 2, her big takeaways from our first 9 months together, and a message to you as a potential participant.
Dianna is a content strategist and copywriter who participated in the first cohort of The Inner Circle, and has decided to come back for a second time.
Before joining, Dianna shared that she felt pretty meh about her business. Things were going fine and she liked it, but she felt like something might be missing—like it could be better, but she didn’t know what “better” would actually look like.
Dianna said she felt stuck doing the same old thing, and never really doing anything new. She was consistently hitting decent numbers, but nothing she wanted to brag about or felt super proud of.
Her big goal was to feel proud of her business… And excited again.
Those feelings were compounded by the fact that she had just returned from maternity leave, which is a time of rebuilding for many women, both personally and in business.
“I knew that this time I wanted to build back up BETTER than before, but I was lost. I didn’t know how to balance being a stay at home mom AND a business owner at the same time. I didn’t even know where I wanted to go from there. I just knew I wasn’t in the spot I wanted to be.”
Dianna’s biggest hesitation when joining was feeling “ready” to work together. She felt like she needed to do certain things to prepare. She learned that’s not the case.
Dianna also wanted someone to take a fine toothed comb to her business to find the problem areas. She didn’t want a quick fix or advice to put out more Reels. She wanted solutions, and options.
Since wrapping up the inaugural cohort, Dianna shared that she now looks at her business in a completely new way—a 180 degree shift in perspective.
“I don’t see limitations anymore. Only potential. I don’t see problems anymore. Only situations that need tweaking.
“I felt like Jill put so much into this. Like there’s no other thing she could have added to this program. It’s all there. I felt like I was kind of doing this whole business thing alone. Then I felt like I had someone to help me steer the ship AND an entire crew to support me. Honestly it makes me wish more people knew about it. It also makes me sad that there are a lot of freelancers out there who had negative experiences with other coaching programs and masterminds, and they’ve sworn off them. I just wish they could have had my experience instead.”
Dianna shared that her biggest surprise or shift came from the inner work encouraged inside the Mastermind. Business is human, and everyone who joins is also human. So we journal a lot and work with our resident mindset coach to become our authentic selves.
“The Inner Circle blew my expectations out of the water. I’m an optimist and a bit of a dreamer, so I was so excited to join Jill’s Inner Circle. I was sure it was going to be amazing, but I didn’t expect to feel so sad when it was over. I didn’t expect to forge such deep friendships with the other members. I didn’t expect to have my business turned over on its head, reimagined into the dream business that I could never quite get to on my own. I’m not sure what I’ve loved more — the tangible work of restructuring and fine tuning my business, or the inner work that’s been inspired by the brilliant brains in my cohort. These ladies are the raddest, coolest, and the smartest. They’re fierce cheerleaders, shoulders to cry on, and creative problem solvers. In my opinion, every single freelancer or service provider should have an intimate group like this to leverage and lean on. Jill is one of them, of course. But with Jill it’s a whole other ball game. Yes, she’s a business genius, critical thinker, and incredibly creative problem solver. But she also taps into this other unknown side of her, where she’s able to put you and your business under a microscope and completely change your perspective on literally every aspect of your business. These days, I book days instead of by project, and suddenly I’ve got a stellar work life balance, a business running smoothly, and I’m dreaming of new possibilities. And this time I actually believe I can make it happen.”

Every now and then you encounter something that completely shifts the trajectory of your business. 👇
Spoiler: I’m about to shamelessly plug the heck out of this post, so if you aren’t curious about the program that inspired my biggest business shifts (for the better) go ahead and keep scrollin’. No hard feelings. 🫶
A year ago I was 5 months postpartum with a squirmy little nugget and a whole heck of a lot of “IDK HOW TO DO THIS WHOLE BUSINESS THING ANYMORE” vibes happening.
I was still able to actually deliver what I promised (I’ve always loved writing) but with my little nugget to think about, I wasn’t sure where to go from here.
(Side note: Everyone talks about mat leave, but if you’ve never been a parent and a business owner at the same time, you might do what I did and completely forget to plan for AFTER mat leave. I was naive enough to assume I’d do exactly what I’d done before… but with a little drooly, toe-grabbing, cooey little milk monster on my lap.)
I didn’t know what I wanted, and I didn’t know if anything really even needed to change… but I also knew that meant that I needed SOMETHING.
Enter The Inner Circle Mastermind.
In 9 months, I:
Tripled my income
Scaled up my team
Restructured my business
Paired back down my team
Burned my offer suite to the ground
Created a whole new offer suite
Started working *way* less hours
Partnered with clients even MORE in alignment with my vision
These days, I work 3 days a week with some of the BEST clients I’ve ever had, and my offers are simple and clean. My life can feel chaotic, so having my business in little boxes with bows on them makes me feel a whole lot better — and my clients are into it too.
So here’s the deal:
If you want 1:1 AND group coaching from the creative business genius Jill Wise, (my words, not hers) along with input and support from a very intimate group of incredibly talented online business owners, hit me up. I’d love to share more about my experience inside. 🚀
The next cohort starts in June.
And I’m doing it again.
✌️
P.S. If you’re the type that loved doing homework in school, this is the group for you.
As a coach, consultant, and mastermind facilitator, I take my job seriously. That’s why I love that Dianna is joining for a second round. She’s a kind, supportive, and insanely smart addition to the cohort. She’s quick to help others, and takes responsibility for her own growth.
I love raving about Dianna and the others inside our community.
If you want to be like Dianna, you can learn more and apply here. After I receive your application, we’ll find a time to connect via Zoom to make sure this is 100% a good fit.
Leave your info below to join. You'll be added to my email list, but can opt out at any time.
